Apartment with lovely views over the bay of Sao Martinho do Porto. Very close to the beach, cafes, shops and excellent seafood restaurants. This unspoilt fishing village with its cobbled streets and pretty quay has a daily market selling local fruit vegetables and fish. The apartment is one minute walk from the safe sandy beach and is ideal for families as the sea is calm and never gets too cold due to the enclosed shell shape of the bay. Sao Martinho do Porto has been a popular weekend retreat for Portuguese families escaping the pace of city life in Lisbon. There are small grocery shops, a pharmacy and a bank with English speaking staff in the town and large supermarkets just outside Caldas da Rainha at only 15 mins by car. You can find several historic places nearby including the medieval town of Obidos (20 minutes) and Alcobaça (15 minutes). The express bus into Lisbon leaves from the bus stop a few minutes walk from the apartment and takes about one hour  and 20 minutes. There are golf courses with half an hour drive including Praia del Rey, Golden Eagle and Bom Sucesso.

Availability Calendar.

A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking (non refundable but can be transferred) with the balance required 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit against damages/breakages is required 8 weeks prior to arrival and is fully refundable within one week of your departure upon satisfactory inspection.
