The Silver Coast is an upcoming region hosting the best tourist attractions in Portugal. It has a long and wide sandy beach lined by bars, restaurants and shops. Just ten minutes south of Nazaré or Alcobaça, 20 minutes from Obidos castle and only 50 minutes driving distance from Lisbon and the airport.  The whole coast has sandy beaches everywhere you look and has become very much a surfer spot. One of the other sporting options is the golf at Golden Eagle, Bom Sucesso and and Praia del Rey at only 30 minutes drive.
